KISHTWAR, Feb. 5 -- The Indian Army organized a comprehensive Medical and Veterinary Camp at Sinthan Maidan, Kishtwar, as part of its ongoing efforts to support the welfare of remote and underserved communities. The camp aimed to address the urgent healthcare needs of local residents and ensure the health of livestock, a vital source of livelihood for the people of the region. A team led by an Indian Army Medical Officer, along with trained paramedical staff, provided free medical consultations, health check-ups and distributed essential medical and nutritional supplements. In addition, awareness sessions on personal hygiene and preventive healthcare were conducted to educate the community on maintaining their well-being.
