JAMMU, Sept. 12 -- Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh today said that media acts as an effective bridge between the Government and the people and has a pivotal role in spreading awareness about various government schemes and initiatives. Dr. Jitendra Singh was addressing media workshop 'Vartalap' as a Chief Guest, organised by Press Information Bureau, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, Jammu.
