Chandigarh, Sept. 2 -- The Disaster Management Committee of Mehr Chand Mahajan DAV College for Women, Sector 36-A, in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society, Punjab State, organised a four-day First Aid Training Program.

The training aimed to equip students with hands-on life-saving skills, enhance their safety awareness, build confidence, and prepare them to respond effectively in emergency situations.

The sessions are being conducted by Dr. Shaina Verma, a professional trainer from the Red Cross, who provided participants with practical insights into handling life-threatening and emergency situations.
