The road link from Mandi to Arai in tehsil Mandi of district Poonch which got damaged badly due to a cloud burst during floods in 2014 is still waiting for its restoration allegedly due to non-availability of funds needed to execute the repair work.
The damaged road has left a population of nearly 20,000 souls of the area high and dry as the link to their respective villages is almost inaccessible.
Locals particularly school children and people with disabilities are facing severe hardships in travelling on the dilapidated road.
