Kishtwar, July 4 -- In a major breakthrough, Kishtwar Police has solved a blind murder case within 24 hours, by arresting a husband-wife duo involved in the brutal killing of a man over an alleged illicit relationship.
SSP Kishtwar Naresh Singh-JKPS, while sharing the details, said that on 02.07.2025, information was received at Police Station Kishtwar that a vehicle (Echo) bearing registration number JK17A/7539 was found parked on the roadside at Drab Sarthal, with a male dead body lying inside. On this information inquest proceedings under Section 194 BNSS vide DD No. 06 dated 02.07.2025 initiated and preliminary enquiry started.
