SAMBA, June 3 -- With no work in their hands due to the continuous lockdown, the artist community is almost on the verge of starvation; however, the district administration has so far failed to lend any helping hand to the artists. The artists from different parts of Samba district said that they are deeply hurt by the apathetic attitude of the administration as it never bothered to give a glance to pitiable condition of the community, whose sources of income have dried up due to the lockdown period.
The artists alleged that administration had ignored them in these difficult times despite the fact that they had no other source of income.
