Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, BJP state Spokesperson on Kashmir Affairs said that Lt. Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, G.C. Murmu's activism has raised hopes of the refugees and displaced people.
Chrungoo said that the activism of the Lt. Governor is not only appreciable but it has set an agenda for the next six months for the bureaucracy and the administration of the UT. It is travesty of the spirit of the PM' Package for the displaced youth and the refugees of 1947 that a lot of issues are yet pending. The earlier bureaucratic rig-am-role, non-serious approach and unnecessary cobwebs of rules and regulations have taken the toll of time and thus many benefits could not reach the deserved people.
