Jammu, May 9 -- Taking serious note of unabated COVID deaths in J&K in general and Jammu region in particular, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday directed authorities to take effective steps for better survival rate.
Lt Governor emphasized the need for early diagnosis of the infection to check the mortality rate. He directed the Health Department to intensify the testing so that affected patients can be identified and treated accordingly. He called for communication with the public for cooperation and further directed for focusing on vulnerable groups for testing and vaccination.
Lt Governor is very particular about increasing bed capacity and he had passed directions in the previous meetings of COVID Task Force.
