Jammu, Sept. 11 -- Following the devastating floods and incessant rains that struck the Jammu region in the last week of August, several areas are now experiencing alarming incidents of land sinking. These occurrences have led to the collapse of structures, displacement of residents, and widespread concern among the local population.

The phenomenon of land subsidence has been reported in multiple districts including Poonch, Jammu, Kathua, Ramban, Doda, Rajouri, and Udhampur.
