Kargil, July 31 -- In a historic moment for Ladakh and Indian sports, Rinchen Youdol has brought laurels to the nation by winning the Gold Medal in the PARA Poomsae Individual Female Senior P34 Category at the prestigious 2025 Junior, Cadet & Para Asian Taekwondo Championships, held in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia.
The championship featured participation from 12 countries, and Rinchen's victory marks the first-ever Asian Championship gold medal in any sport from Ladakh - a milestone achievement that has filled the region with pride and joy.
