SAMBA, Jan. 16 -- The Labour Department on Friday organised a one-day awareness and interactive programme on the New Labour Codes at Cadila Pharmaceutical. The Human Resource (HR) professionals from industrial establishments and other stakeholders were sensitized to new Labour Codes introduced by the Government of India.
They were familiarized with salient features, compliance requirements and additional benefits of the four Labour Codes, which seek to simplify existing labour laws, improve compliance mechanisms, enhance ease of doing business and strengthen the social security and welfare framework for workers.
