KATHUA, May 24 -- The Labour Department Jammu & Kashmir today organized an interactive session at Chenab Textile Mills (CTM), Kathua, focused on labour welfare, safety, and awareness of social security schemes. Labour Commissioner J&K Charandeep Singh was the Chief Guest.
During the programme, the Labour Commissioner held a detailed interaction with Insured Persons (IPs) under the J&K Employees State Insurance Scheme (JKESIS). Many workers shared their personal experiences on how they and their families have benefitted through the JKESIS scheme - a vital social security initiative providing medical and financial support to the working class.
