JAMMU, May 1 -- The Labour Department Jammu today organized a 'Run for Health and Safety of Workers' to mark International Labour Day (May Day). The run was flagged off at 6:00 AM by Labour Commissioner J&K, Charandeep Singh here from Shram Bhawan, Railway Road.
The run followed a designated route via War Memorial, Railway Station, opposite Ladakh House, J&K Bank Zonal Office link lane, Divisional Commissioner Office Jammu, and culminated at the Office of the Labour Commissioner J&K. The event aimed to promote awareness about the importance of health, safety, and dignity of workers across sectors.
