JAMMU, Jan. 23 -- The Labour Commissioner, J&K, Charandeep Singh, today reviewed the implementation and progress of the Pradhan Mantri Shram Yogi Maandhan (PM-SYM) scheme in a meeting with all Assistant Labour Commissioners (ALCs) of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, it was informed that 85,954 unorganised workers have been registered under PM-SYM in Jammu & Kashmir till date. The Labour Commissioner reviewed the ongoing registration drive and noted that necessary plans have already been put in place to further accelerate enrolment under the scheme, with special focus on intensified field-level activities.
