JAMMU, April 10 -- Over 36 years since their forced displacement, the Kashmiri Pandit (KP) community continues to live in exile under difficult conditions. In a joint press statement issued today, prominent social activists M.K. Yogi and Vinod Pandita appealed to the Union Home Minister and the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir to take immediate humanitarian steps to resolve the pressing issues faced by the displaced KP community.

M.K. Yogi emphasized the urgent need for a time-bound rehabilitation plan for the return of KPs to the Valley with honour and dignity.
