JAMMU, Feb. 19 -- In a major step towards ensuring a reliable, sustainable, and improved water supply for the residents of Jammu city, the Jal Shakti wing, under the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC)/Housing and Urban Development Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir is actively working on the augmentation of the city's water supply scheme under the Atal Mission for Rejuvenation and Urban Transformation (AMRUT) 2.0. The centrally sponsored scheme aims to modernize urban water infrastructure, improve service delivery, and ensure universal access to safe and adequate drinking water in cities across the country.
