JAMMU, Aug. 28 -- Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Dr. Devansh Yadav, today conducted an extensive tour of several wards of Jammu Municipal Corporation to assess the damages caused by continuous heavy rains over the past two days. The torrential downpour has severely affected low-lying areas, disrupting normal life and leaving many households inundated with floodwater and debris.

The Commissioner visited key affected locations including Rajendra Nagar, Canal Head, the area surrounding Peerkhu Temple, Rajiv Nagar University area, and Gujjar Nagar near the Tawi River.
