JAMMU, Nov. 27 -- The Jammu & Kashmir High Court Bar Association Jammu (JKHCBAJ) convened an emergent meeting today to address the growing resentment and concerns among the legal fraternity regarding the recently enacted Jammu & Kashmir Tenancy Act, 2025.
The meeting was called in the wake of widespread protests by lawyers across the Jammu province, who have voiced strong opposition to some provisions of the Act. Recognizing the gravity of the situation and the collective sentiments of its members, JKHCBAJ took the decisive step of constituting a committee tasked with evaluating the matter comprehensively.
