SRINAGAR, Feb. 26 -- The union territory of Jammu & Kashmir reported 85 new cases of COVID-19 following which the total number of positive cases reached 1, 26,286; following a fresh death the death toll due to the virus reached 1,956.
Srinagar district reported 47 new cases including 22 travelers followed by Jammu district 12 cases, Baramulla district eight cases, Pulwama and Anantnag districts three cases each, Kupwara, Bandipora, Shopian and Kishtwar districts two cases each and a case each in Budgam, Ganderbal, Udhampur and Kathua districts. Budgam district reported a fresh virus related death.
