JAMMU, July 18 -- In a significant breakthrough, PSI Rahul Kumar, along with Head Constable Zaheer Hussain Shah and Selection Grade Constable Yogesh Kumar, has apprehended a notorious drug peddler, Jai Pratap Singh, son of Late Nishant Singh, resident of Paloura near Dispensary.
During a routine checking operation near Paloura Talab, the police team signaled a scooty to stop, but the rider attempted to flee the scene. However, the proactive police party swiftly apprehended the accused and recovered 5 grams of heroin substance from his possession.
An FIR No. 104/2025 under relevant sections of NDPS Act, has been registered at Police Station Janipur, and investigation is underway.
