SRINAGAR, May 1 -- In a heartfelt ceremony, Dr. Syed Darakhshan Andrabi, Chairperson of Jammu & Kashmir Waqf Board, today handed over an appointment letter on compassionate grounds to Syed Nazakat Shah, the brother of martyr Syed Adil Hussain, who lost his life in the Pahalgam terror attack. Hussain had laid down his life while bravely saving tourists from the attackers.
The Waqf Board, recognizing Syed Adil Hussain's immense bravery, also presented a posthumous Bravery Award to the martyr. Dr. Andrabi, along with BJP J&K President Sat Sharma, General Secretary Ashok Koul, MLA Shri Vibodh Gupta, Dr. Maniyal, and Sofi Yousuf, attended the emotional event.
