JAMMU, March 7 -- A National Law University (NLU) will be set up in Jammu & Kashmir, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah revealed on Friday.
The budget has allocated Rs 50 crore to the development of the J&K NLU, Omar Abdullah said in the Assembly.
The long-awaited move will give rise to the 28th NLU and attempt to bring legal education in the region in line with national standards.
