SRINAGAR, July 5 -- Jammu and Kashmir Police on Saturday attached a property allegedly acquired through illegal proceeds linked to terrorist activities here, an official said.

According to police, the attachment was carried out under relevant provisions of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in connection with an FIR registered at Khanyar police station.

In a decisive move against the terror ecosystem and to dismantle its supporting infrastructure, Srinagar police has attached a residential property - land and building structure - estimated to be worth approximately Rs 1.5 crore, a police spokesperson said.
