Jammu, May 9 -- The Union Territory (UT) J&K is showing more consumption, including wastage, than the vaccine supplied by the Union Health Ministry for three phases of vaccination drive.
As per the data shared by the Union Health Ministry, 26,81,840 doses of vaccine were supplied to J&K out of which the UT has consumed 27,11,409 including wastage. As per this figure, the J&K is showing a negative balance of 29,569 doses.
However, Union Health Ministry clarified that states, with a negative balance, are showing more consumption (including wastage) than vaccine supplied as they have not reconciled the vaccine they have supplied to Armed Forces.
