Jammu, Jan. 28 -- Nazia, a 21-year-old from Ban village of Nagrota in Jammu district, has etched her name in history as part of the Indian Women's Kho-Kho team that claimed victory in the inaugural Kho-Kho World Cup. The tournament was held at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Delhi, from January 13 to 19.

Today the Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust extended heartfelt gratitude and congratulations to young nomad Gujjar Bakerwal Girl, Nazia Choudhary, who made history by becoming the first player from Gujjar- Bakerwal Tribal Community of Jammu and Kashmir to represent India in the Indian Women's Kho Kho Team for the World Cup 2025 and won a Gold Medal.
