JAMMU, June 16 -- In a significant breakthrough in the ongoing crackdown against theft and criminal activities, Jammu Police, have successfully solved a theft case within the jurisdiction of Police Station Kanachak. Acting promptly on a complaint, the police recovered Rs 40,000 in stolen cash, arrested one accused, and apprehended a juvenile involved in the crime.
The case was initiated on the written complaint of Naresh Manhas, wife of Kuldeep Singh, resident of Galwadey Chak, who reported a theft at Sahib Bandgi Ashram, Galwadey Chak. Upon receiving the complaint, a formal case was registered under FIR No. 145/2024, U/S 305/331(4) BNS at Police Station Kanachak.
