JAMMU, Feb. 18 -- In a sustained and strategic campaign against bovine smuggling under Operation Kamdhenu,Jammu & Kashmir Police undertook a year-long crackdown across District Jammu from January 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024. The intensive operations led to the arrest of 425 smugglers, the rescue of 3434 animals, and the seizure of 360 vehicles used in illegal transportation. These actions reaffirm Jammu Police's commitment to enforcing the law and preventing unlawful activities that threaten public order.
