JAMMU, Feb. 21 -- In a major success to team of Sub Division City West Jammu, Police succeeded to recover stolen items worth Rs 37 lac in different incidences of thefts.
In a recent incident, a maid hired by a jeweler through a private online recruitment agency took advantage of his employer's absence at home and stole a number of valuables. Among the stolen items were expensive jewelry, mobile phones, a laptop, and other personal belongings.
The jeweler, noticing the theft, promptly reported to Janipur police station . A case FIR no. 22/2025 registered at police station janipur.
Through diligent tracking and investigation, the house help was swiftly apprehended. All the stolen items were successfully recovered from his possession.
