JAMMU, Nov. 8 -- In an effort to curb the menace of drug trafficking, Jammu Police, South Zone achieved a major success when Police Station Satwari foiled a narcotic smuggling attempt and apprehended two individuals with heroin-like substance, weapon (desi katta), live cartridges, cash, and other incriminating material during naka checking at Old Satwari near Hanuman Chowk.
During routine naka duty, a police team led by PSI Karnail Singh, Incharge Police Post Chatha, under the supervision of SHO Police Station Satwari, SDPO City South Jammu, and overall supervision of SP City South Jammu, intercepted a white Swift car (Registration No. JK21L-1863) coming from Belicharana towards Chatha.
