JAMMU, July 20 -- As part of its ongoing crackdown on illegal mining activities under Operation Ploughing, Jammu Police, South Zone has intensified its enforcement measures and seized multiple vehicles involved in unauthorized sand transportation.
During routine checking, the following vehicles were found transporting sand in violation of mining regulations and without valid documentation:
A tipper bearing registration number JK02CX/6779 was intercepted at Police Post Nehru Market.
A tractor-trolley (Chassis No. MBNGAALFZRRC05424, Engine No. RRC2GDA2102) was seized by Police Post Chatha for illegal mining.
