Jammu, March 16 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Police successfully organized the "Jammu Marathon 2025 Run for Fun" under its Civic Action Programme (CAP) at Gulshan Ground, Jammu. The event witnessed an overwhelming participation of over 3000 athletes from different states, including schoolchildren, veterans, and fitness enthusiasts.
The marathon featured nine categories, catering to different age groups and fitness levels. The race distances included a 21-km half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, 4 km, and 2 km fun run. The 21-km route extended from Gulshan Ground to Hill View Honda near Bajalta Crossing, while shorter races were organized within city limits.
