SRINAGAR, Sept. 7 -- The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather advisory for several districts of Jammu Division, forecasting cloudy skies with light to moderate rainfall and thundershowers over the next five days, from September 7 to 11.

According to the bulletin issued by IMD, districts including Jammu, Kathua, Udhampur, Doda, Kishtwar and Ramban are likely to witness spells of rainfall of varying intensity during the forecast period. The advisory highlighted that September 7 could see heavy rainfall at isolated places in Jammu, Kathua and Udhampur, especially during evening and night hours, which may trigger localized flooding or landslides in hilly terrains.
