JAMMU, Dec. 11 -- Jammu (Rural) Police achieved a major success after a team from Police Station Jhajjar Kotli, led by SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Vikas Dogra, established a special naka at Jhajjar Kotli.
During the checking drive, police seized seven vehicles for violating provisions of the Motor Vehicles Act. These vehicles were brought from outside the Union Territory but had not undergone the mandatory legal transfer of ownership to their current users, prompting action by the Jhajjar Kotli Police.
Jammu (Rural) Police appeals to all vehicle owners to follow legal norms and ensure that mandatory ownership transfer procedures are completed on time to avoid legal action.
