JAMMU, April 30 -- On the occasion of World Book Day, the Inner Wheel Club (IWC) Jammu, in collaboration with Padma Sachdeva PG College of Gandhinagar, organized a Book Reading and Poem Recitation Competition at the School for Destitute Children in Channi Rama. This charity event, held annually, aimed to encourage young minds to engage with literature and appreciate the value of reading.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from students of the 4th to 10th standards, who were given the platform to showcase their reading and recitation skills. The competition was aimed at fostering a love for books, enhancing vocabulary, and improving the students' reading habits.
