Udhampur, Oct. 2 -- Continuing its drive against drug menace, Police party of PS Udhampur led by its SHO during traffic checking at Naka Point Jakheni apprehended one person identified as Shamim Hassan S/o Mohd Ali R/o Gangltak, Diskit, Tehsil & District Leh for checking purposes.
During his search, 6.61 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession who has been arrested on spot.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 351/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Udhampur and investigation has been taken up.
