Jammu, May 11 -- Despite the announcement of a ceasefire with Pakistan after three days of conflict, the Union Government has made it clear that the decision taken in the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) on April 23, will remain effective.
All decisions taken by the CCS remain fully active and unaffected.
The ceasefire was initiated at Pakistan's request, with the Pakistani DGMO explicitly stating that Pakistan would refrain from further strikes. This followed decisive Indian strikes on Pakistani airbases, which marked the final military actions prior to the ceasefire agreement.
