RAMBAN, June 4 -- The Indian Army organised a Sarpanch Sammelan at the remote village of Sangaldan in Ramban district. The attendees were briefed on the prevailing security situation & the growing threat of use of drugs/ narco amongst youth of the region. The event saw participation of over thirty (30) members including the Sarpanches. ex- Sarpanches, Panches and Maulvis, alongwith various other decision makers of the region who engaged in discussions on topics such as Healthcare, Social Media Awareness, Drug Awareness, recently launched government policies on rural development such as National Rural Livelihood Mission and Mumkin - Livelihood Generation Scheme for the unemployed youth.
