POONCH, May 12 -- In a continued demonstration of its humanitarian commitment, the Indian Army has launched a Mobile Medical Team initiative in Surankote and adjoining areas of the Poonch district, offering vital healthcare services to civilians displaced due to recent cross-border firing.
The initiative, spearheaded by a team of Army doctors and trained medical staff, provided doorstep medical care to affected communities. Services included on-site diagnosis, treatment, and the distribution of free medicines, with a special focus on the elderly, women, and children-those most vulnerable during such crises.
