Jammu, March 8 -- Gurj Divison of Indian Army celebrated International Women's Day (IWD) showcasing Nari Shakti. Multiple events were conducted over a week to celebrate International Women's Day.
To promote health, Walkathons were organised at Mamun, Kathua and Samba. More than 600 women including 200 College students participated in the event enthusiastically at Mamun. During the Walkathon, 46 women achievers were felicitated to recognise their stellar achievements in different fields.
The Janglot walkathon was flagged off by SSP Manjeet Kaur, Principal Police Physical Training School, Kathua.
