Jammu, May 11 -- India has firmly ruled out any third-party mediation on the so-called Kashmir issue, reiterating that the only unresolved matter is the return of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK), sources confirmed on Sunday.
The Indian government expressed strong displeasure over a social media post by US President Donald Trump, who offered to mediate between India and Pakistan to resolve the Kashmir dispute, a move that has sparked diplomatic tensions.
According to government sources, New Delhi has made it unequivocally clear that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part of India, and the only issue pending with Pakistan is the return of territories illegally occupied by Islamabad.
