Delhi, Oct. 14 -- The 4th edition of the India-Australia joint military Exercise AUSTRAHIND commenced on 13 Oct 25 at Irwin Barracks, Perth, Australia.

Scheduled from October 13 to 26, 2025, AUSTRAHIND-2025 aims to enhance interoperability, joint planning and execution capabilities of both armies in diverse operational environments.

Notably, the joint drills will focus on counter-terrorism operations in urban and semi-urban terrain - a vital operational domain in the contemporary security landscape. The participating contingents will also rehearse scenarios drawn from United Nations peacekeeping operations, simulating realistic multi-national missions that demand close coordination, adaptability and rapid response.
