Jammu, Sept. 11 -- The Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), Jammu, launched a Two-day Induction programme - Aarambh 2025, on September 11, 2025, to welcome the new batch of BBA and BCA 1st semester students. The event aimed to familiarize students with the institute's legacy, academic culture, and the opportunities they will experience over the next few years.
The programme started with the Lamp lighting ceremony followed by a welcome address by Dr. Meenakshi Sharma, Director, IMS, who welcomed the first year students with an introduction to the institute's growth and vision since its establishment as the first professional college in Jammu & Kashmir in 1997.
