UDHAMPUR, Feb. 17 -- An important course on "Handling of Digital Evidence" was held at Sher-i- Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur in which officers and officials from various wings of Jammu and Kashmir police participated and gained knowledge about how to collect, preserve and present digital evidence in accordance with law.
Digital evidence, ranging from e-mails and cloud-stored documents to mobile device data and network logs, plays a pivotal role in criminal investigations, regulatory inquiries and internal organizational reviews. The course was specifically designed to enhance professional competence in addressing emerging digital threats and tackling complex crime committed adopting digital modes.
