NEW DELHI, Jan. 28 -- Indira Gandhi National Open University has launched a B.Sc. programme in Fabric and Apparel Design (BSCFFAD) via Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode. This 3-year (6-semester) Four Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) focuses on textile science, design, production, and marketing, preparing students for roles in garment manufacturing and fashion retail.
The Notification No.IG/P&DD/ODL/Launch/2556 Dated 22nd January, 2026 issued to this effect by the Planning and Development Division, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi states that the programme will be on-offer from the current January 2026 admission cycle.
