JAMMU, July 14 -- The Jammu & Kashmir government seems to be least bothered about the preservation of green gold in the union territory and same gets reflected every now and then by the steps taking by the people at helm.

Early Times has learnt from sources that in the 14 forest divisions in Kashmir not a single Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer has been posted as Divisional Forest Officer (DFO).

These forest divisions are being looked after by the local officers and given the local influence these officers are not able to discharge their duties in professional manner.
