Jammu, April 21 -- Stating that he is not a "Pakistani" and cannot speak on behalf of an Army General, National Conference president Dr Farooq Abdullah on Monday blamed the neighbouring country and their agents in J&K for promoting drug abuse in the region.
Replying to a query about Pakistan Army chief's recent remarks on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, Dr Farooq said, "I am not a Pakistani and cannot speak on behalf of a Pakistani general. Please direct your enquiries to him."
Responding to a question about Pakistan's alleged involvement in pushing narcotics into J&K the National Conference President said, "We know about it. It is not a new thing. There are people among us who are part of it and we need to strongly crack down on these agents ...
