JAMMU, Sept. 4 -- The Department of Neurosurgery at AIIMS Jammu recently demonstrated the cutting-edge capability and interdisciplinary coordination that is transforming paediatric head trauma care in the region. Last week, an 8-year-old girl presented to the hospital with a severe traumatic brain injury, after a fall from the first floor, in an unconscious state with a low Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) score of 7, indicating a critical and life-threatening condition.
