JAMMU, Jan. 30 -- The Department of Horticulture, Jammu, conducted a Farmers' Awareness Camp/Kissan Mela at Satwari under the ATMA scheme, aiming to promote fruit crop plantation and educate farmers on various government initiatives.
MLA, Dr. Narinder Singh Raina, graced the event as the chief guest, while Ex-BDC Chairman, Daleep Kumar, presided over the program. Joint Director Horticulture, Vikas Anand, welcomed the dignitaries and highlighted the department's efforts in promoting sustainable agricultural practices and increasing farmers' income through centrally sponsored schemes, especially HADP.
