Jammu, April 7 -- During the second day of his three-day visit to Jammu and Kashmir, Union Home Minister Amit Shah discussed the prevailing security and political situation in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in a closed-door meeting with senior BJP and Sangh Parivar leaders.
The ninety-minute meeting was held at the residence of Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma at Gandhi in which top leadership of J&K BJP and Sangh Parivar was present.
Apart from the BJP and Sangh Parivar leaders, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha was also present at the meeting.
This meeting is significant in the sense that the ruling National Conference, along with coalition partner
Congress and other Kashmir-centric parties, have decided to rake up the Waqf (...
