REASI, June 23 -- Continuing its firm crackdown on drug peddling, Police Station Katra achieved a major success by apprehending a drug smuggler and recovering narcotic substances from his possession.
Acting on reliable input, a police team from P/S Katra apprehended one person in the Nangal area. The accused has been identified as Pankaj Sharma S/o Omkar Sharma R/o Jatwal, Tehsil Ghagwal, District Samba.
During his personal search, 5.190 grams of heroin (NDPS) along with a small digital weighing scale was recovered from his possession.
